When you want to invest, ask yourself “if these investment is going to be as great as these investment firms claim them to be, why are these firms not investing their own money in them?” This was the question our founder Abdulla Kazim asked himself when he approached investment firms, and the answer to that question is a sad reality: Most investment firms are only interested in the commissions they make from getting a client to invest in what they’re offering. It’s a gamble for the investor, sometimes it hits, and sometimes it misses. Either way these firms make money.

This needed to be changed and right then was the point where Abdulla decided to open his own firm to protect his investment interests and to capitalize in a market full of disappointed investors who lost trust in the investments that are pushed to them by the multitude of firms out there. Abdulla wanted to cater for investors like him, who want disruptive ideas that solve problems for millions of people, so Platinum Exclusive Brokerage was born.

Originally started in Dubai in 2015 by Abdulla Kazim, Platinum Exclusive Brokerage is an amalgamation of Abdulla's reputation as a 'make it happen' businessman and innovator combined with a family legacy, ethics, and connections that is expected from one of Dubai's oldest merchant families, with their continuous business exercise since 1870 in Dubai alone, and an even longer history before that as rulers of parts of the Gulf region. Platinum Exclusive Brokerage is an embodiment of Abdulla’s strong belief in science; A marine biologist and biomedical scientist by education, a hybrid hypercar manufacturer by passion and experience, Abdulla is very open minded when it comes to technology. In 2015 Abdulla was one of only 12 scientists chosen to manufacture a new type of Satellite in a joint venture between Masdar Institute, Yah Sat, and ATK. He was the only non-engineer on the team. Abdulla is a proud Emirati who was born in the USA, educated in the UK in his childhood, and studied in Australia until 2014 where he returned to his home country the UAE, living in different countries exposed him to different cultures, mindsets and opportunities.
